Nathaniel Dwamena has Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Rural Development from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – Ghana (KNUST). He is discipline and has good leadership skills. He contributed immensely to the KNUST Students’ Parliament House as a Majority Chief Whip and eventually becoming the Majority Leader for the 11th Parliament. He won the Most Hardworking and Exemplary Leader award for the 10th and 11th Parliament in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He was 2nd runner up for the inter-tertiary Student Parliament Common Wealth Debate organizes by the Ghana National Parliament in 2018. He is a free market advocate and engages in activities that advance principles of free society for socio-economic development. He was the winner for the Anti-Corruption Debate by Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) which was part of events marking the 2018 anti-corruption week. He is also a Researcher & Development Manager at Institute for Liberty and Policy Innovation (ILAPI). He is part of the local organizing team for the African Journalist for Economic Opportunity Training (AJEOT) at ILAPI. He won the Outstanding Project Innovator in 2018 at ILAPI. He is a writer and contributes to OP-ED for major media outlets in Ghana. He successfully completed in person training in Nigeria which aided in his successful graduation from the Atlas Leadership Academy, Atlas Network (USA). He is currently the Co-founder and Programs Manager of Young Africans for Opportunities (YAFO).
